WHAT FOOD ARE ALLOWED DURING THE CLEANSE?
- Green Mung Beans and Split Yellow Mung Beans (known as Mung Dahl)
- Vegetables (like asparagus, fennel, pumpin, spinach, zucchini, squashes, carrots, celery, beets, ginger, sweet corn, leeks, parsnips, onions, garlic, cilantro)
- Fruits (apple, papaya, watermelon)
- Grains (rice and quinoa are allowed beginning on Day 5)
- Breakfast porridge (rolled oats with soaked almonds, dates, figs, nuts, and spices - allowed beginning on Day 11)
- Oils (olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, sunflower oil)
- Spices (Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Asafoetida (Hing), Black Pepper, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Ginger)
- Nut & Seeds (only if they are soaked overnight and blended into recipes....otherwise they are hard to digest)
- Sweeteners (like jaggery, honey, maple syrup, stevia, agave)
- Snacks (like rice crackers with almond butter or sesame paste, and certain fruits)
- Fresh Juice (apple, carrot, beet)
- Energy Drink (soaked dates, figs, & nuts blended into a yummy drink with cardamom and fennel spices)
- Teas (green tea, black tea, herbal teas)
- You'll receive recipes for the following cleanse-approved meals:
